Oriented EFDA Dental Assistant

Bright Now! Dental, supported by Smile Brands, is seeking a motivated and patient-focused Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team in Elyria. Days/hours: W-TH 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Assist the doctor chairside during dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
• Take X-rays and maintain accurate patient records
• Support smooth patient flow and provider efficiency
• Educate patients and help create a comfortable office experience
• Work collaboratively with clinical and front office teams

• Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment (e.g., RDA, CDA, EFDA, state registration, or equivalent as required by the state)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards
• Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care

$35-$37/Hour
