St. Mary School, Elyria, has an opening for a part time art teacher for kindergarten through grade 8. We wish to welcome to our staff an individual that is faith-filled, enthusiastic, committed to educating children, communicates with parents, and works cooperatively with faculty and staff. Knowledge of current teaching methods as well as the ability to differentiate instruction is required.

Willing to share this individual with another school to make it a full time role or by combining the position with other duties.

• Planning, preparing and implementing lessons according to the objectives and goals set by the Diocese of Cleveland
• Possess or be willing to pursue a religious education certificate through the Diocese of Cleveland
• Use technology effectively to engage students and enhance instruction
• Ability to walk up and down stairs in the main school building

• State of Ohio Teaching License (or receive license by the start of the 2026 school year)
• Successful prior teaching experience is a plus
• Virtus Trained (or willing to be trained)
