RN (BSN) Nurse – Clinical Nursing Instructors – Part Time

Elyria, OH – Campus (In person) – Clinic locations.

Part‑time instruction of clinical labs and off‑site clinicals for 2–3 days per week, Monday‑Friday. Provide training and mentorship to students while ensuring quality of clinical education.

• Teach clinical labs and off‑site clinicals.
• Prepare lesson plans and classroom activities.
• Grade and electronically record assignments.
• Promote student retention and support externship activities.
• Record grades, proficiencies, and attendance in campus management software.
• Adhere to Ross Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics.

• BSN or higher from an approved registered nursing education program.
• Minimum two years of direct patient care as a registered nurse in Ohio.
• Current, valid RN licensure in Ohio.
• Daytime availability and ability to teach campus and off‑site clinicals.
• Experience with precepting (preferred).
• Experience with pediatric or obstetrics (preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in classroom and individual settings.
• Knowledge of curriculum and ability to use Ross curriculum materials.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced work environment.
• Proficiency with technology (Microsoft Office, campus software, Brightspace).
• Professional demeanor, dress, and conduct representing Ross.
• Ability to remain objective and treat all students equally.
• Commitment to quality and attention to detail.
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience (preferred).
