We are a proud 5 Star Center through Step Up To Quality and provide excellent education for many children ages 6wks - 5 years of age in Elyria. Park Place is a family oriented center that believes education starts in the infant room as babies learn to build connections with their teachers and that in each classroom they move to they learn a little more to build a strong foundation to prepare them for Kindergarten!

Being a Park Place teacher means that each day when you come to school you get to share your knowledge and love with tiny humans! You get to work with a devoted team of educators to provide great experiences for young children to enjoy! Daily communication is a great way of building awesome relationships with the children, their families and our co-workers.

We are looking for an educator that has a minimum of a High School Diploma, a CDA or Associate is preferred but not required or a Career Pathway Level 2 for Step Up To Quality and a minimum of 3 years classroom experience. This position is Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week.

As an infant assistant teacher you will work alongside the lead teacher in providing a safe, creative and loving environment for children ages 6wks-12 months. You will help infants build strong social, emotional, physical and cognitive skills through play based experiences.
