Salary Range: $80,000.00 To $90,000.00 Annually
ENVi Environmental, LLC is an Ohio based consulting firm with offices in Independence and Elyria. Partnered with Kurtz Bros., Inc, ENVi provides consulting services to meet the needs of industrial companies as well as commercial real estate attorneys and civil engineering and design firms who are seeking to minimize their environmental risks. Our environmental professionals work with property owners to develop and implement environmentally responsible business practices, including a beneficial reuse plan to transform cost-draining waste streams into profitable, recurring revenue streams.
Stormwater/Wetland Specialist
The ideal candidate is a seasoned environmental professional with 10-15 years of experience in environmental consulting, regulatory compliance, and stormwater management. They possess a strong understanding of Federal and Ohio environmental regulations and can independently manage complex compliance programs across multiple client facilities.
Technical Expertise
- Extensive experience with NPDES permitting and stormwater compliance programs.
- Proven ability to develop, implement, and maintain Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs).
- Strong knowledge of Ohio EPA regulations, reporting requirements, and eDMR submissions.
- Experience conducting:
- Site inspections
- Compliance audits and assessments
- Environmental monitoring programs
- Groundwater and surface water sampling
- Ability to interpret laboratory analytical data and prepare clear technical reports.
Wetland & Permitting Experience
- Experienced in wetland delineations and assessments
. - Familiar with Clean Water Act Sections 401 and 404 permitting processes.
- Ability to coordinate with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Ohio EPA regarding wetland impacts, mitigation requirements, and permit approvals.
Regulatory & Environmental Compliance
- Working knowledge of:
- Stormwater regulations
- Wetland regulations
- Environmental permitting
- Regulatory reporting
- Additional experience with:
- Hazardous and solid waste compliance
- Air permitting and emissions reporting
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and clients simultaneously while meeting regulatory deadlines.
Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Ecology, Natural Resources, or a related field.
- Preferred certifications:
- CPESC (Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control)
- CESSWI (Certified Erosion, Sediment and Stormwater Inspector)
- Professional wetland certification(s)

- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in both office and field environments.
- Strong communication skills with clients, regulators, and internal project teams.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving compliance issues.
- Comfortable with frequent fieldwork, travel between sites, and varying outdoor conditions.
