City of Elyria Police Officer – Entry Level
The City of Elyria Police Department is hiring an entry-level Police Officer.
Minimum Requirements- Must be at least 21 years of age but less than 40 on or before July 18, 2026
- Must be a United States citizen
- Must be able to read and write the English language
- Must have a valid United States driver’s license
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- 12-hour Shifts
- Take home support cars
- 4 weeks of vacation after 1st year
- Excellent training & equipment
- Specialty unit bonuses
