Patient Intake Representative – Northern Ohio Imaging Center (PRN). This is a PRN "As Needed" Position.

Processes of scheduling, pre-registration, insurance verification. A thorough understanding of the health care revenue cycle, with excellent interpersonal skills, are necessary to achieve the position’s overall objectives.

• Ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations at a level normally acquired through completion of high school education.
• Typing speed of 35 wpm; accuracy is essential.
• Familiarity with personal computers and prior registration experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
• Completion of medical terminology course is preferred.

• Normal office or patient care environment with little exposure to noise, dust, temperature and the like.
• Close attention to detail 90% of the time.
• Rarely (less than 6% of the time) exposed to adverse conditions.

Reports to assigned Manager/Director.
