Early Childhood Behavior Technician (Part-Time) – Amherst, OH

Schedule:

Monday/Wednesday 8–12 in Amherst and Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 8–12 in Elyria

Spark Joy ABA, in partnership with Finni Health, is looking for energetic, playful, and compassionate Behavior Technicians to deliver ABA therapy to children with autism.

Your Role:

• Be a Play Leader:
  Work one-on-one with children in their homes. You won't simply be "monitoring"—you'll be actively engaging, playing, and moving with each child to help them achieve their goals.

• Teach Through Action:
  Use creative, high-energy methods to teach communication, social skills, and daily living abilities.

• Data &
  
  Collaboration:
  
  Record progress and work closely with supervising BCBAs to ensure each child thrives.

• Support Families:
  Build trust with parents through consistent, positive communication and in-home support.

Work Environment:
This role is entirely in the client's home. You should be comfortable working in client homes and visiting neighborhoods within the assigned territory.

What You Bring:

• The "Spark":
  You are outgoing, energetic, and able to maintain high energy to keep children engaged and learning.

• Experience:
  
  At least one year of experience working with children (such as daycare, camp counseling, teaching, coaching, etc.) is required.

• Reliability:
  Reliable transportation to client homes in the Marion area is a must.

• Commitment to Growth:
  You must pass RBT Certification within 90 days of hire (we'll help with studying and cover the cost!).

• Training:
  Completion of a 40-hour Behavior Technician training course is preferred but not required for an interview.

Job Details:

• Part-time: 20 hours/week
