Job Description

Human Resources Business Partner – Elyria, OH. Serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, aligning people strategies with organizational goals. Shape talent initiatives, drive engagement, and foster an inclusive, high‑performing workplace.

• Drive and implement people strategy tied to business strategy for assigned client groups.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and leadership to execute recruitment plans and onboard new hires.
• Lead development and implementation of HR programs in Talent Acquisition and Talent Management.
• Deliver end‑to‑end HR services; advise on talent strategies, organizational design, workforce planning, performance management, employee development, and compensation.
• Provide consultation and coaching on employee relations matters in compliance with all laws and company policies.
• Facilitate enterprise talent management processes, including the talent review process.
• Identify and partner on employee engagement initiatives; act as a change agent for positive culture transformation.
• Drive action planning for the employee engagement survey with leadership.
• Administer all HR policies and practices, advocating for employees while advising Professional Tools leadership.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive human‑resources experience across all functional areas; strong background in talent acquisition or talent management preferred.
• Knowledge of employment law, compliance requirements, and leave management.
• Strong relationship‑building skills at all organizational levels, including senior leaders.
• Proven coaching ability for employees and leadership on complex issues.
• Customer‑service mindset and collaborative approach.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to extract actionable insights from data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• PHR or SPHR certification.
