Technical Azure DevOps-AWS Consultant - Hybrid, OH

Hybrid work environment - candidate will need to report to 35 East Chestnut Columbus, OH 43215 as needed.

This position serves as a technical Azure Dev Ops/ AWS expert responsible for the design, implementation, and support of cloud-based information technology solutions in current and future state. This role includes building, maintaining, and operationalizing infrastructure, security services, and system components in commercial or government cloud service providers to deliver highly available and scalable services. The level of work required is considered advanced and staff must be able to work under minimal supervision.

This position is also responsible for collaborating with other peer architects and application developers to establish shared responsibilities to maintain, improve, and develop our cloud presences (primarily Microsoft Azure, AWS, Salesforce, Service Now, and SharePoint, etc.). Additional duties require a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Servers (v2008 and greater) for proper configuration, in support of application/code deployments through any given SDLC, which this position will also be responsible for overseeing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Technology, or related field
• Azure AZ-305 certification (mandatory)
• AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification (mandatory)
• Salesforce AD201 & AD301 certifications (preferred)
• At least two of the following OS certifications:
  Microsoft Certified System Administrator, Engineer, or Solution Expert;
  Unix/Linux certifications
• Minimum of ten years experience as a computer systems analyst or network administrator
• At least five years working with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) in enterprise environments
• Seven or more years of software engineering experience in team settings
• Experience integrating legacy systems with cloud platforms
• Experience with SaaS providers and multi-vendor environments
• Proficiency with Web Services, API, REST, RPC
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms, networking, virtualization, and security
• Experience deploying and managing scalable, highly available applications using containers, Kubernetes, and automation tools
• Knowledge of Dev Ops practices, deployment checklists, and operational processes
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and prioritization skills
• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting to technical and business audiences
• Proficiency with Azure Dev Ops, scripting languages (Python, Power Shell, Bash), Kubernetes, Docker, Serverless, Copado, and source control tools like Git
