About

the Role
  • Sustain & contribute to the project management framework, governance, and associated business systems and processes to deliver strategic business initiatives in close coordination with leaders and their teams.
  • Provide timely communication and control of information at each stage of project implementation, with the ability to handle unexpected crises and deviations from plan.
  • Maintain a high standard of technical assistance to project team members and stakeholders with respect to project engineering applications and technical information management.
  • Deliver analysis to monitor work stream milestone reports so that any impacts to the schedule can be escalated as needed.
  • Create incremental value and track delivery via work breakdown structures and other project tracking tools.
  • Schedule and lead project‑related meetings and calls with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders. Monitor and track action items and decisions for work streams/projects.
  • Communicate across traditional lines of command by bringing together as peers those persons necessary to accomplish a given task.
  • Assist with the development and oversee the implementation of policies & procedures, tools, and best practices.
  • Manages processes that communicate a shared path to achieve success, leveraging infrastructure, workflow, people, and operational governance tools.
  • Support the management structure standardized by the Project Management Office. Builds up processes, procedures, and corporate knowledge base. Sustains or improves PMIS.
  • Ability to communicate and influence various organizational levels of stakeholders and project team members.
  • Maintain awareness of operational and strategic priorities to effectively manage project timelines and deliverables.
What You Bring
  • Must be able to travel 25% of the time and have experience working individually / remotely.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Certified Professional in PMP or on the path to certification desired.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing technical and non‑technical projects of various scopes and sizes, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Well‑versed in Project Business Artifact Characteristics (Benefits, Change, Communications, Procurement, Quality, Risk, & Stakeholder Management Plans), Lesson Learned, Project Post‑Mortem.
  • Knowledgeable of change control logs, Critical Path Management, Project Charter, Business Case (Value), and creation of granular value‑creation goals. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to successfully influence through indirect and matrix relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools. Must possess excellent computer skills with desktop applications, which include MS Office, project management, and data analytics tools.
