Business Insurance Agent

Farmers Insurance District 19 is seeking a Business Insurance Agent to work out of our district office and support the growth of our commercial lines business in connection with our agents. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships with business owners, developing customized coverage solutions, and growing within a supportive, high-performing district.

As a Business Insurance Agent, you will focus on helping small to mid-sized businesses protect what matters most. You’ll work closely with Farmers agency owners and the District 19 leadership team to identify opportunities, quote policies, and drive commercial growth.

• Develop and manage a pipeline of commercial insurance prospects
• Consult with business owners to identify risk and coverage needs
• Quote, bind, and service commercial policies
• Support Farmers agents with business insurance opportunities
• Build long-term relationships within the local business community
• Participate in district training and growth initiatives

• Active Property & Casualty license (or ability to obtain)
• Commercial insurance experience preferred (but not required)
• Strong sales, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Professional, organized, and customer-focused
