Job Description
Based in our Elyria, OH office as a Project Manager for the Sourcing Operations team, you will be responsible for using data-driven analysis and strategic thinking to develop solutions for improving the efficiency of the Professional Tools Organization.
We're looking for someone who is a detail‑oriented self‑starter with the ability to lead multiple projects and work with both internal and external stakeholders, as well as supplier partners.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:- Lead multiple projects from initiation through production readiness, including planning timelines, defining milestones, tracking progress, and managing risks.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and suppliers to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
- Execute sourcing and procurement activities, including requests for proposals, supplier engagement, cost analysis, and competitive evaluations.
- Manage project financials, including feasibility inputs, capital expenditures, and ongoing budget tracking.
- Evaluate risks across project portfolios and implement mitigation or recovery strategies to maintain momentum.
- Develop and maintain transparent communication plans to keep stakeholders informed of progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Support supplier transitions, tooling initiatives, and production readiness to ensure continuity of supply.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and recommending practical solutions.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation and recovery strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to implement sustainable sourcing initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
- Facilitate project reviews, including tracking key metrics such as supplier transitions, cost changes, and production readiness.
- Build strong working relationships across teams to support long‑term strategic objectives and business continuity.

For This Role, You Will Need:- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or Operations or another related discipline
- Minimum 6 years of experience in supply chain in a high‑paced, multi‑location environment
- Ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at various levels of the organization
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and key cost drivers
- Demonstrated ability to manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% - periodic overnights
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
