As a Lead Maintenance Technician you will handle workflow and troubleshooting escalations to support the maintenance team.
In your role, you will be responsible for the following (but not limited to):- Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements and on demand support on production equipment and machinery, HVAC, and facility utility systems; and following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; observing for problems and issues; using precision measuring and testing instruments utilizing root cause analysis tools.
- Controls downtime by informing production team of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
- Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends using company provided systems.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- May direct workflow and handle escalations from other maintenance team members and provide direct or indirect support in the absence of the manager.
- May assist with safety, capital, and continuous improvements projects through project coordination activities.
- Perform all other duties as directed by management.
- High school and/or skilled trades educations preferred such as (Mechanical, Electrical, Fluid power, Machining, Welding, etc.)
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English, fluently
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience in provide direct or indirect leadership of maintenance or production teams.
- Experience maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical systems with knowledge of AC & DC motors and drives and controls and 120/240/480v single and three phase systems.
- Ability to use most hand and power tools and other tools needed for this position:
Amp clamp, volt meter, wrenches, drills, presses, torches, etc. - Good knowledge of state and local safety codes.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office and maintenance management systems)
- May require a valid drivers license
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to move from one area to another by stepping over and/or bending under objects
- Ability to successfully complete training through Dura-line’s lift truck training program.
- Must be able to wear and used all required protective equipment.
- Ability to climb ladders and other elevated equipment listen to equipment, look for defects in product and sense temperature changes in the finished product
- Stand and walk long distances on the plant floor for 8 to 12 hours on a shift and work around hot machinery.
- Occasional climbing, reaching, squatting and bending to operate and fix equipment
- Work in an environment that may be exposed to external elements (hot and cold temperatures) and occasional loud noises.
- Able to lift and carry, push/pull up to 50lbs multiple times per shift
- Manufacturing floor environment

The compensation for this position is typically $30/Hour. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
