CNC Setup Operator

We have an exciting opening for a CNC Setup Operator in Elyria, OH. This position is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines.

Your main responsibilities:

• Set up, maintain and operate computer numerical controlled machine tools, including turning and milling centers (vertical and horizontal).
• Run simple to complex runs to exact tolerances and specifications; read blueprints and use micrometers, gauges and applicable tooling.
• Apply broad machine tool knowledge to support special tools and machine orders; may run multiple tasks or machines simultaneously.
• Edit or change programs to enhance product quality; order raw materials from stock and appropriate tooling per project.
• Instruct less qualified operators in set up and operation; maintain the highest degree of quality, safety, cost reduction and customer satisfaction.
• Perform these duties and others as requested.

We are looking for talent with:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC machines.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Consistently meets or exceeds commitments with the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
