Position Overview:

Responsible for packing finished product in boxes, loading boxes onto a pallet and moving the pallet to shipping.

What You'll Do

As a Pack line Operator, you'll be part of our team located in Elyria, OH. You'll get to:

* Make boxes in which to package finished product.

* Select the appropriate product to pack based on the information listed on the pan card.

* Move the product from production into the hopper using a tow motor.

* Pack the appropriate piece count into each box using the scale.

* Label each box and send thru the tape machine. Slide taped box onto the pallet.

* Information on the boxed product is entered into the kiosk which generates a move ticket.

* Move ticket is put on the completed pallet which is moved to shipping using a tow motor.

Who You Are

* High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

* Prior manufacturing experience preferred.

* Prior Tow Motor experience preferred.

* Detail oriented.

* Basic computer skills.

* Mechanical aptitude.

* Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.

Physical Requirements

* Ability to work in a manufacturing environment requiring the employee to stand and walk for majority of an 8 to 10-hour day.

* Bend, lift product, equipment and tools up to 50 pounds throughout the day.

* Push or pull product up to 200 pounds.

* Use hand tools up to 20 pounds over extended periods of time.
