Salary Range: $21.00 To $26.00 Hourly

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Punch Press/4-Slide Operator to join our manufacturing team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating punch presses and related machinery to produce high-quality metal components. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes, blueprint reading, and precision measurement to ensure products meet strict quality standards. The Punch Press Operator will play a vital role in maintaining efficient production workflows and ensuring safety compliance within the manufacturing environment.

• Set up and operate punch press machines to cut, shape, or form metal and non-metal materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings.
• Select appropriate dies, punches, and tooling based on job specifications.
• Load materials into the machine and ensure proper alignment.
• Monitor machine operation to ensure quality and accuracy of produced parts.
• Inspect finished components using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain tolerances and production output.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Document production counts, quality checks, and machine issues.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines.

• Proven experience operating various manufacturing machinery such as stamping presses and press brake machines.
• 4-slide or multi-slide experience a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and gauges for quality inspection.
• Basic math skills necessary for measurement calculations and process adjustments.
