Blaster Operator

Second shift 4:30 pm – 3 am for 10 hours, or 6:30 pm – 3 am when on 8 hours.

• Clean castings by removing fins, burnt-on sand, and excess metal per required specifications in preparation for customer shipment.
• Operate overhead cranes and/or jib cranes (pendant and radio controlled) to place castings at workstation and shipment area. Select appropriate heavy chains and hooks for casting size, shape, and weight.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks, weigh in trucks as necessary, use scale and record data.
• Clean up workstation and surrounding work areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physical, and industrial environment.
• Time management through performing multiple operations simultaneously.
• Ability to follow work instructions and desire to learn.

• Perform physical activities requiring use of arms and legs, including climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials during your shift.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable wearing full hooded respiratory safety equipment.
• Stand and bend for long periods; bend, twist, crouch.
• Indoor and outdoor climate conditions during all seasons and varying temperatures.

Full time, hourly, non‑exempt.
