Sand Lab Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Sand Lab Technician to join our team in Elyria, OH. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing sand testing, monitoring sand systems, and ensuring quality standards are met consistently.

• Perform sand testing to evaluate physical and chemical properties.
• Monitor sand systems to ensure optimal operation and performance.
• Maintain accurate records of test results and system performance.
• Identify and report any deviations or quality issues promptly.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations team members to improve sand quality and system efficiency.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean laboratory environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

• At least 1 year of manufacturing quality experience
• Experience performing sand testing and analysis.
• Proficient in sand system monitoring techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to document and report findings accurately.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Must be 18 or older
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Previous experience in a laboratory or industrial setting is a plus.
• Must be able to work in HOT/COLD dirty work environment, wear required PPE.
