Job Details Responsibilities:
  • Develop and write precise CNC programs for 5 Axis machines.
  • Select the appropriate tools and determine the sequence of operations for each job.
  • Perform complex programming tasks using CAD/CAM software.
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions of finished work.
  • Operate CNC lathe and mill machines to produce components as per the design specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and programs.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative solutions for complex design challenges.
  • Continually update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and staying abreast of advances in CNC programming technology.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer in the engineering industry.
  • Proficiency in programming and operating 5 Axis machines.
  • Extensive knowledge of machining operations and procedures.
  • Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Experience in operating CNC lathe and mill machines.
  • Strong understanding of CAD/CAM software.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A degree or diploma in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Proven track record of adhering to safety procedures and maintaining a clean work environment.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
  • Must be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
