The Production Associate is responsible for the production of quality textile goods for Goodwill customers. Typical tasks include sorting, tagging, and staging products in a quick and efficient manner, while maintaining production goals and quality standards set by Goodwill.

• Consistently meet production requirements, per Goodwill production standards, while working with management in maintaining an efficient flow of processed merchandise.
• Use sound judgment in sorting/producing donations, ensuring items of value are not discarded.
• Maintain Goodwill quality standards when processing and pricing donations.
• Communicate with materials handler and/or management about any shortage of materials or necessary services.
• Prepare necessary paperwork as required for production operations reporting; maintain integrity and accuracy in reporting actual production and other information requested by management in a timely fashion.
• Work with management in solving problems while remaining flexible in adjusting to changes in operations and scheduling requirements.
• Sort, pull, display, and arrange merchandise as instructed by store management.
• Maintain all work areas in a neat and orderly manner and assist in general housekeeping tasks including maintaining floors (sweep, dust, vacuum, mop),
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Attend safety training and follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe and supervised work environment for all employees.
• Promote positive teamwork among co-workers.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service, ability to work with diverse public.
• Ability to use physical exertion such as prolonged periods of standing, walking, recurring bending, reaching and climbing; ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently.

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Factory/assembly experience preferred but not required.
