Registered Nurse - Oncology in Elyria, OH

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• At least 1 year of recent experience in a medical-surgical or oncology unit
• Current BLS certification (AHA or equivalent)
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to manage multiple patient priorities compassionately and efficiently

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, assess, and document cancer patients' conditions and responses to treatment
• Administer chemotherapy and other oncology-specific medications as required
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and self-care
• Coordinate care in partnership with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records according to facility protocols
• Assist with procedures and provide bedside care tailored to oncology needs
• Promote safety, comfort, and dignity for patients throughout their stay
