Quality Inspector

Multilink Inc is seeking a Quality Inspector. The QI will need a good understanding of the quality environment, quality inspection tools, and processes, have an attention to detail, and have intermediate computer skills.

• Perform visual, dimensional, and measured inspections of steel/aluminum cabinet pieces, parts, and plastic injection molded items while in process and last piece.
• Have or grow knowledge of fiber types, connectors, and testing tools such as ODTR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer).
• Perform receipt and inspection of all incoming products and materials.
• Perform data entry of inspections into the MRP system (Syspro).
• Ability to read and analyze blueprints.
• Keen eye for material defects or deformations.
• Utilize blueprints to identify the final product has all components
• Manage Quality warehouse for non-conforming product investigating any non-conforming materials.
• Ability to use various measuring equipment (calipers, tape measurer, protractor, etc.)
• Perform root cause analysis
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent may be required.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints, tape measure, calipers, and other shop drawing aids.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to change.
• Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writting.
• Understanding and support Company policies and procedures.
• Safety conscious behavior.
• Excellent attendance.
• Ability to work with various types of metal forming constraints with guidance.

• Ability to stand, sit, bend over for up to 8 hours.
• Lift product ranging up to 70 lbs. (lifting harness available).
• Move around plant floor for inspections.
• Walk to other departments.
• Possibility of driving to other facility location for back up inspections.

• Ability to work in a 55-85-degree Fahrenheit work environment.
