Job Overview
Location: Elyria, OH, United States
We are seeking a Sales Operations Manager to join our Nelson Stud Welding Commercial Sales team as an on‑site employee. In this role you will support sales activities, reporting, inventory, and product launches to help ensure our high‑performance sales organization delivers top results.
Responsibilities- (CRM) management and reporting of leads, opportunities, and pipeline
- Sales Incentive Plan tracking and reporting
- Distribution inventory management (DRP setup, Warehouse Resupply process)
- Market tracking and research
- Pricing management, including margin analysis, pricing approvals, price book, and customer‑specific pricing
- Management and monitoring of order entry guidelines and policies
- Assist with marketing activities, including sales promotions, sales campaigns, trade shows, membership in industry organizations, and website design
- Assist with product launches, program continuation, and design‑specific tasks
- Assist in quoting (cost, lead time, price) and automated system configuration and costing
- Create new part numbers, BOM, MRP data, and routing
- Assist in the development of new applications
- Participate in Engineering Change Notification (ECN) process and coordinate product testing and design
- Bachelor’s Degree (Business or Engineering preferred) or equivalent experience supporting a sales organization
- Experience with Marketing Automation Systems with a record of demonstrated achievement
- Experience with technology platforms, such as , ERP Systems, Warehouse Management Systems, CAD systems, and database management, is a plus
- Effective project management skills, strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated solid analytical skills and problem‑solving ability
- Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business, including a 300+ field sales team
