Sales Operations Manager – Elyria, OH

On‑site employee on the Nelson Stud Welding Commercial Sales team.

• CRM management and reporting of leads, opportunities, and pipeline
• Sales Incentive Plan tracking and reporting
• Distribution inventory management (DRP setup, Warehouse Resupply process)
• Market tracking and research
• Pricing management, including margin analysis, pricing approvals, price book, and customer‑specific pricing
• Management and monitoring of order entry guidelines and policies
• Assist with marketing activities such as sales promotions, sales campaigns, trade shows, industry organization membership, and website design
• Assist with product launches, program continuation, and design‑specific tasks
• Assist in quoting (cost, lead time, price) and automated system configuration and costing
• Create new part numbers, BOM, MRP data, and routing
• Assist in development of new applications
• Participate in Engineering Change Notification (ECN) process and coordinate product testing and design

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience supporting a sales organization
• Experience with marketing automation systems and proven track record
• Experience with technology platforms such as ERP systems, warehouse management systems, CAD systems, and database management is a plus
• Effective project management skills, strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Solid analytical skills and problem‑solving ability
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business, including a 300+ field sales team

$77,600 – $124,900 per year
