Vacancy is effective for the school year.
Start date:
August 31, 2026. 8 hours daily - Monday through Friday; 6AM - 2:00PM. Starting pay: $29.55/hr based upon experience and skills.
Qualifications:
High school diploma. Holds a license in one or more trades (i.e., mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, etc.). Advanced skills in building systems (e.g., HVAC, fire suppression, security, communication, etc.) substantiated by training/work experience especially in plumbing, electrical and the carpentry trades. Ability to perform physically demanding work that includes lifting and/or moving heavy items. Additional licenses/certifications deemed appropriate at the time of hire may be required.
Collects, records, and maintains data accurately. Demonstrates dependability/flexibility. Reacts to interruptions/emerging priorities effectively. Embodies high ethical standards/integrity. Accepts personal responsibility for decisions/conduct. Exhibits consistent, impartial and resourceful critical-thinking skills. Knowledgeable about environmental, health and safety regulations, building codes and ADA accessibility guidelines. Uses blueprints/schematic diagrams effectively. Maintains a valid driver's license. Meets all prerequisite and ongoing qualifications to be covered by the district's insurance carrier.
Commercial (CDL) license is advantageous. Complies with drug-free workplace rules, board policies, and administrative guidelines/procedures. Maintains a record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment. Meets all mandated health screening requirements. Participates in all state/district mandated training sessions.
