We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Bus Driver to join our elite team in Elyria, OH via Lorain County Transit. As a key member, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

• Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement
• $22.00 / hour

• Execute flawless operations by following designated routes and schedules, while adhering to stringent safety protocols and traffic regulations.
• Exhibit exceptional care and assistance towards passengers, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation.
• Champion vehicle safety through comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip inspections, promptly reporting any maintenance issues, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety equipment readiness.
• Uphold company policies and procedures, including seat belt enforcement, emergency response preparedness, and compliance with regulatory mandates.
• Perform other duties as required.

• 21 years or older.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional).
• A valid CDL with class C & Passenger endorsements.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Availability to work day, evening, weekend and overnight shifts as assigned.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical test if applicable.

• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• Must be able to sit, type, or look at a computer screen for long periods.
• Work environment will include both indoor and outdoor settings.
