Great Opportunity for an Accounts Payable and HR Specialist!

If you are an Admin pro, looking to grow your skills in Accounting and HR, we would love to talk with you! PARADIGM Structural Engineers is looking for an AP and HR specialist. This position supports the Office Manager and is ideal for a highly organized, dependable individual who is comfortable handling confidential information in a professional services environment.

Schedule

Full-time, onsite position at PARADIGM’s office in San Francisco.

Pay

$33‑$37 per hour, commensurate with experience.

The Position
  • Manage vendor setup, maintenance, and W‑9 collection
  • Perform data entry related to accounts payable using accounting software
  • Process vendor bills and employee expense reimbursements
  • Perform credit card reconciliations and assist with month‑end processes
  • Maintain accurate accounts payable records and organized filing systems
  • Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors
  • Support recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, and scheduling
  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation
  • Support benefits administration and time‑off tracking
  • Assist with HR‑related inquiries
What You’ll Need
  • Proficiency with MS Office software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Superior communication skills (Written and verbal)
  • Basic understanding of accounting processes
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • HR support or accounts payable experience (highly preferred)
  • Experience with Quick Books, BQECore, or other accounting programs (highly preferred)
