Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 per year

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and proactive Project Engineer to join our fast-paced Construction team. The successful candidate will be involved in a diverse range of construction projects, working closely with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure the smooth and successful completion of construction projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities- Utilize your expertise in Civil Sitework to design, develop, and implement construction projects.
- Review, interpret, and analyze blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to identify potential issues and develop effective solutions.
- Prepare and submit RFI's in a timely manner and follow up on responses.
- Manage all aspects of project scheduling, ensuring all milestones are met within the agreed timeline.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all projects are delivered within the set financial parameters.
- Manage materials, ensuring efficient utilization and timely procurement to avoid any project delays.
- Implement and oversee safety management procedures, ensuring all projects adhere to industry standards and regulations.
- Handle change orders, ensuring they are accurately documented and effectively communicated to all relevant parties.
- Liaise with various stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proficient in Civil Sitework, RFI's, construction management, scheduling, budgeting, blueprint reading, materials management, safety management, and change orders.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve potential issues swiftly and effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proficient in the use of construction management software and tools.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various project sites as required.
- A strong commitment to safety, with a thorough understanding of industry safety standards and regulations.
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be an advantage.
