General Studies Teacher – Grade 2 or Grade 3 (Maternity Leave)

February 2026 – May 2026.

• Collaborate with grade-level and class team in curricular planning and teaching.
• Lead small group learning.
• Participate in responsibilities outside the classroom such as lunch, dismissal, and recess duty.

• Strong ability to build connections with children and develop an atmosphere of mutual respect.
• Problem‑solving and collaborative skills.
• Understanding of social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Creative, flexible, and open‑minded approach to education.
• Ability to teach language arts, math, and thematic social studies units.
• Working knowledge of educational technology tools to maximize student engagement and differentiate instruction.
• Prior teaching experience required.
