We have an immediate opening for an entry-level Environmental Engineer/Scientist/Geologist in our Emeryville (Bay Area), California office. Come join our team!

Responsibilities
  • Perform fieldwork to support environmental assessment, remediation, and restoration projects, including collecting groundwater, soil, soil vapor, and surface water samples.
  • Assist Project Technical Leads in preparing technical presentations, reports, letters, plans, and proposals.
  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and analytical laboratories, including subcontractor oversight.
  • Support the design of assessment programs and remedial options for site cleanup, environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance, and permitting activities.
  • Support the management, analysis, and interpretation of environmental data using statistical and data visualization tools.
  • Perform data entry and QA/QC of data tables, maps, reports, and other work products.
  • Conduct research tasks independently with input from technical experts.
  • Collaborate with technical experts, project managers, colleagues, and subcontractors to foster a team atmosphere.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geosciences, Environmental Engineering, or related field;
    Master’s preferred.
  • Up to 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) or Geologist in Training (GIT) certification preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and as part of a team.
  • Experience with data management, database, office software, and data analysis preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification preferred.
  • Ability to travel is required.
