We have an immediate opening for an entry-level Environmental Engineer/Scientist/Geologist in our Emeryville (Bay Area), California office. Come join our team!
Responsibilities- Perform fieldwork to support environmental assessment, remediation, and restoration projects, including collecting groundwater, soil, soil vapor, and surface water samples.
- Assist Project Technical Leads in preparing technical presentations, reports, letters, plans, and proposals.
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and analytical laboratories, including subcontractor oversight.
- Support the design of assessment programs and remedial options for site cleanup, environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance, and permitting activities.
- Support the management, analysis, and interpretation of environmental data using statistical and data visualization tools.
- Perform data entry and QA/QC of data tables, maps, reports, and other work products.
- Conduct research tasks independently with input from technical experts.
- Collaborate with technical experts, project managers, colleagues, and subcontractors to foster a team atmosphere.

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geosciences, Environmental Engineering, or related field;
Master’s preferred. - Up to 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) or Geologist in Training (GIT) certification preferred.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and as part of a team.
- Experience with data management, database, office software, and data analysis preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification preferred.
- Ability to travel is required.
