Description

A well-established, carrier-side insurance litigation and coverage firm is seeking a contract-to-hire Remote Litigation Paralegal to join its collaborative team. This is a newly created position due to growth-offering the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys in a firm that values long-term relationships and flexibility.

This role is ideal for a litigation paralegal with insurance coverage experience who thrives in a substantive, research-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

+ Support attorneys in insurance coverage matters

+ Conduct legal research and draft memoranda

+ Manage written discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests

+ Analyze insurance claim files and policies

+ Assist with document review and production

+ Prepare case materials for hearings, depositions, and trial

+ Support billing functions in Clio and maintain organized case files

Requirements

Required:

+ Experience in insurance coverage/litigation

+ Strong litigation background, including discovery and research

+ Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment

Preferred:

+ Experience reviewing insurance claim files and insurance policies

+ Healthcare-related litigation exposure

+

Experience with Relativity and Westlaw
