Temporary Part-Time Associate Manufacturing Engineer
Bruker Spatial Biology, a subsidiary of Bruker, is seeking a Temporary, Part-Time Associate Manufacturing Engineer. The Associate Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality inspections of the Company's consumables and products. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring on-time delivery of materials to customers.
This is a part-time, temporary position for approximately 3 months between $50-80/hour.
Responsibilities- Execute the day-to-day production of the Company's consumables to meet customer demand
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system or process excursions
- Perform complex, mechanical assembly and quality inspection of products according to established specifications
- Ensure the on-time delivery of high value, time-sensitive material to both vendors and customers
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area
• Associate's degree with preference for a B.A. or B.S. degree in STEM discipline
• 2-10 years of experience working in a high-tech manufacturing setting either in a technician or production control capacity
• Experience operating within Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
• Adept troubleshooting skills, including the ability to isolate and resolve component level failures
• Ability to use small hand tools (tweezers), microscope, and maneuver small parts in assembly fixtures
• Well organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and interface positively with other team members and departments
• A passion for technology and a willingness to take ownership of results
