Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute in vitro ADME assays to support drug discovery and candidate optimization.
  • Conduct ADME screening studies, including but not limited to microsomal stability, hepatocyte stability, permeability, plasma protein binding, and related metabolism assays.
  • Generate, analyze, interpret, and report high-quality data to support project decisions and compound progression.
  • Collaborate closely with DMPK, biology, chemistry, and project team members to ensure timely delivery of decision-enabling data.
  • Design and troubleshoot in vitro experiments to address project-specific questions related to compound metabolism, stability, permeability, and protein binding.
  • Contribute to LC-MS/MS bioanalytical method development, sample analysis, assay optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Apply enzyme kinetic and quantitative bioanalytical principles to support assay design and data interpretation.
  • Prepare experimental protocols, study summaries, technical reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders and project teams.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in electronic laboratory notebooks and ensure adherence to internal quality and safety standards.
  • Support implementation and use of laboratory automation platforms, as applicable.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant hands-on in vitro ADME experience in a biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, or contract research organization environment.
  • Strong understanding of DMPK and ADME principles, including assay design, data analysis, and interpretation.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and executing automated in vitro assays to evaluate and optimize ADME properties of drug candidates.
  • Hands-on experience with LC-MS/MS-based sample analysis; experience with Sciex instruments is preferred.
  • Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools such as Microsoft Excel, Graph Pad Prism, Analyst, or similar software.
  • Experience using electronic laboratory notebooks.
  • Experience with laboratory automation platforms such as Hamilton, Tecan, or similar systems is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative research environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present scientific findings clearly to cross-functional teams.
