Truck Mechanic/Technician (auto/diesel)

Up to $33.53 based on experience.

• Maintain proficiency in diagnosing and repairing all assigned equipment for a major telecom company, PPL.
• Inspect, diagnose and repair bucket trucks, cranes, backhoes, trenchers, pole‑setting equipment, aerial manlifts, and digger derrick hydraulic systems.
• Perform PA state inspections and manufacturer‑recommended services.
• Diagnose and repair after‑treatment systems.
• Perform system repairs to include engines, transmissions, air and hydraulic systems, tires, drive‑train, steering and suspension, electrical, and A/C.
• Perform routine maintenance on various types of equipment and vehicles such as gas and diesel engines and bucket lift trucks.

• Must be able to work on various types of vehicles and diesel equipment for a major telecom company.
• Certification from an auto or diesel mechanic trade school or a minimum of 3 years of related experience as a diesel/power mechanic.
• Must have a CDL B license.
• Must have a PA state inspection license.
• A series of ASE certifications is a plus.
• Diagnostic skills preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulics.
• Own set of tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer skills: MS Office, Gmail, TMT (Maintenance Software).
• Able to pass pre‑employment drug screen.
