Installer​/Finish Carpenter

FINISH CARPENTER / INSTALLER

Installers work as part of AMC’s installation crew to receive, distribute, and install cabinets and other items that are in AMC’s scope of work.

• Read and understand technical drawings and interpret blueprints
• Read and understand contract drawings
• Understand and execute verbal instruction in English
• Operate all hand, power, and specialty woodworking tools
• Take field measurements/resolve on-site installation issues as they arise
• Travel to job sites
• Maintain highest levels of safety, quality and customer satisfaction
• Unload, carry, and install cabinets for a complete shift
• Work as part of a team requiring equal input and work from each member
• Maintain personal carpentry tools and others provided by AMC

• Minimum 3 year experience in finish carpentry, casework or millwork and cabinet installation
• Knowledge of AWI standards
• Knowledge of ADA requirements as they pertain to construction
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong work ethic

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
• Attention to detail
• Teamwork focused
• Detail oriented
• Excellent finish carpentry and cabinetry installation skills
• Solid technical skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Ability to travel unrestricted within the continental USA
