Design Engineer

Job Summary

Develops innovative mechanical and electromechanical products and systems by creating, refining, and validating specifications, concepts, and test methods to ensure performance, reliability, and manufacturability.

Performs system evaluation, mechanical design, equipment modification, and process development to support product and operational improvements.

Analyzes customer requirements, researches manufacturing methods, and interprets data to support informed engineering decisions.

Works cross-functionally and upholds organizational core values while fulfilling assigned responsibilities as needed.

Generates reports, maintains technical databases, ensures regulatory compliance, and follows established engineering procedures.

Conducts feasibility studies, capability validation, and quality assurance testing to ensure products meet technical and regulatory standards.

Provides hands‑on support, trains technicians, and performs data entry or programming tasks.

Minimum Requirement - Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

5+ years relevant experience.

Applies strong design skills, control engineering knowledge, and conceptual thinking to analyze requirements and develop effective solutions.

Delivers clear technical presentations and offers informed consulting to internal teams or clients.

Maintains a strong focus on quality, demonstrates deep job knowledge, and ensures work meets high technical standards.

Brings energy, curiosity, and passion to engineering work, supporting continuous improvement and innovation.

This position may require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and computer use. The role also involves climbing stairs multiple times per day and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
