General RequirementsEducation:
Minimum Requirement - Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering.
Experience:
5+ years relevant experience.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
This position may require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and computer use. The role also involves climbing stairs multiple times per day and occasionally lifting up to 50lbs. Occasional travel may be required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
Job Duties- Product Launch & Pilot Production – Leads new product launches and pilot production, managing schedules and resolving manufacturability issues.
- Process & Cost Improvement – Drives cost reduction, capacity improvement, supply chain optimization, and process enhancements.
- Compliance & Collaboration – Ensures industry specification compliance, collaborates cross-functionally, schedules equipment maintenance, and prioritizes projects.
- Accountability & Values – Performs additional duties as assigned while aligning with company core values.
- Design & Documentation – Designs fixtures, equipment, and production lines, workflows, and work instructions.
- Technical Support & Training – Provides technician training, conducts technical and failure analysis, and supports line maintenance and equipment.
- Production Planning & Lean Manufacturing – Applies production planning techniques along with LEAN principles and 5S workplace organization to optimize workflow.
- Equipment & Process Knowledge – Maintains equipment, operates CNC machinery, and utilizes GD&T for precise manufacturing processes.
