JOB SUMMARY:

To enhance the educational potential of all students by promoting wellness and facilitating the management of health conditions which create barriers to learning.

• Valid Idaho professional (LPN) Intermediate Technical Certificate.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, pediatric and community health nursing preferred.
• Intermediated Technical Certificate or Associate's Degree.
• Successfully approved as a finalist through the district screening process.
• Capable of accomplishing performance responsibilities, as identified below.
• The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• The ability to read and understand work-related materials.
• Sufficient visual acuity for physical assessments and for reviewing documents.
• The ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements with hands and fingers, and quick reaction with hands, fingers, and feet.
• The ability to push, pull, and lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Sufficient personal mobility, flexibility, and balance to climb stairs, run short distances to playgrounds or within the building, and stoop, kneel, and crouch on the ground multiple times without assistance.
