Emergency Department Registered Nurse
This full-time Emergency Department Registered Nurse delivers comprehensive, high-acuity care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of all ages.
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs in a high-acuity setting.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and advanced clinical interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, trauma teams, and interdisciplinary staff.
- Perform rapid patient assessments and document accurate clinical findings.
- Respond effectively to critical situations, including trauma, cardiac, and respiratory emergencies.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to support patient stabilization and treatment.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.
- Current and valid RN license in Idaho.
- Associate Degree in Nursing required.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification required.
- TNCC certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of emergency department or critical care experience.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Adaptability in high-pressure or rapidly changing patient situations.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and professional integrity.
Skills:
- BSN preferred.
