Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)
The role is for a full-time Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) in Emmett, , responsible for delivering high-quality emergency patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs in a high-acuity setting
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and advanced clinical interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, trauma teams, and interdisciplinary staff
- Perform rapid patient assessments and document accurate clinical findings
- Respond effectively to critical situations, including trauma, cardiac, and respiratory emergencies
- Utilize evidence-based practices to support patient stabilization and treatment
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care
- Current and valid RN license in Idaho
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
- Minimum 2 years of emergency department or critical care experience
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly in high-pressure or rapidly changing patient situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and professional integrity
