This full-time emergency department registered nurse provides comprehensive, high-acuity care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced setting. The role supports a trusted healthcare partner in Emmett, , ensuring rapid assessment, triage, and advanced interventions.
Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs in a high-acuity setting
Administer medications, IV therapy, and advanced clinical interventions
Collaborate with physicians, trauma teams, and interdisciplinary staff
Perform rapid patient assessments and document accurate clinical findings
Respond effectively to critical situations, including trauma, cardiac, and respiratory emergencies
Utilize evidence-based practices to support patient stabilization and treatment
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care
Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Idaho
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required;
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferredBasic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
Minimum of 2 years of emergency department or critical care experience
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
Ability to quickly adapt in high-pressure or rapidly changing patient situations
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care and professional integrity
You hold an Idaho RN license and BLS certification. You have at least two years emergency nursing experience. You excel at rapid assessments and high-acuity patient care
