Accounting Intern (Temporary)

We are looking for an Accounting Intern who is ready to join an amazing team and make a difference at the largest and most clinically capable Critical Access Hospital in Kansas. Part Time paid internship position Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm. 20-30 hours a week
The Accounting Intern provides financial and clerical support to Newman Regional Health as a temporary, entry level accounting position. This position practices accounting knowledge and skills in a professional setting under the supervision of the Controller.
Essential Functions- Provide support for the accounting department
- Participate in the preparation of journal entries and financial reports
- Assist with general accounting month-end closing procedures
- Complete special projects as needed and other duties assigned
- Education-Bachelor's Degree required with Field of Study in Accounting
- Recent graduate or in the process of completing an Accounting degree
