Overview

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position at Emporia Presbyterian Manor. Starting compensation: starting at $27.00 per hour plus shift and weekend differential with our premium pay plan. Additional pay based on experience. This role includes excellent benefits and the opportunity to provide quality care in a supportive, faith-based, non-profit community.

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Ensure activities of daily living and nursing care are delivered in a person-centered, home-like environment.
• Collaborate with the nursing team and residents’ families to promote quality of life and optimal outcomes.

• Must be a graduate of an approved LPN program.
• Must possess a current license to practice as an LPN in this state.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
• Previous geriatric nursing/long-term care experience is a plus.
• IV certification is a plus.
