This is a Full Time Day Position Monday
-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Position Summary:

A clinic CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a clinic nurse (RN or LPN) or provider, in a clinic setting. The clinic CNA will assist the clinic nurse/provider with basic care tasks within the clinic setting.

Essential Functions/Job Duties

• Provide support to patients, providers, and clinical staff to promote efficient clinic operations.
• Assist with patient care activities within the scope of training, competency, and organizational policies.
• Gather, document, and communicate information necessary to support patient care and clinic workflow.
• Support patient flow and visit preparation to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and adequately supplied clinical environment.
• Perform administrative, clerical, and clinical support duties as assigned.
• Utilize electronic systems and other technology to document and support patient care and operational activities.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, providers, and team members.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and safety standards.
• Participate in training, quality improvement initiatives, and department activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• 1 year of Clinic CNA Desired
• Certified Nurse Aide Certificate. Basic Life Support certification, must obtain within 90 days of hire if Basic Life Support is not active.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software, Electronic Medical Records software and Spreadsheet Design software.
