As a Floating Assistant Community Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting multiple communities throughout the San Diego, CA region—including North County communities in Encinitas and San Marcos—ensuring financial accuracy, leasing success, and exceptional resident experiences.

• Accounting & Reporting
  • Collect and post rent, process invoices, and prepare monthly financial reports.
  • Complete bank deposits and account reconciliations.
  • Use Yardi or similar software for property accounting.
• Leasing & Customer Service
  • Lease apartments and promote resident satisfaction.
  • Respond promptly to resident questions and service issues.
• Team Support
  • Mentor leasing team members and assist with marketing and resident retention.
  • Collaborate with the Community Manager on property operations.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of one year of residential leasing, sales, and/or property management experience.
• Experience in leadership and supervising staff (preferred).
• Experience using Yardi or other related property management accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong math and accounting skills.
• Understanding of financial statements (budget, financial reports, accounting information, etc.).
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local fair housing laws and provisions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, and some holidays.

• Estimated hourly rate: $26.97 - $30.16.
