Assistant Video Editor

This is a part time, project based hybrid role based in Encinitas, CA for an Assistant Video Editor. The Assistant Editor will support the post-production team by organizing and managing video assets, preparing project timelines, editing video content, and ensuring seamless workflows. Responsibilities include assisting with post-production edits, maintaining asset libraries, collaborating closely with the editing and creative teams, and ensuring all projects meet quality standards and deadlines.

• Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro
• Strong organizational and asset management skills
• Collaborative skills to work with creative teams and a passion for storytelling
• Attention to detail and ability to ensure consistent quality in video deliverables
• Basic understanding of color grading, sound design, and motion graphics is a plus
• Prior experience in content creation or film production, especially in endurance, wellness, or outdoor industries, preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in an on-site team environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Video Production, or a related field is preferred
