Glee Dentistry is seeking a friendly, motivated Dental Assistant to join our caring and modern cosmetic dental practice in Encinitas, CA. You will support our dentists by assisting chairside, taking X-rays, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and helping to ensure every patient feels comfortable and valued. Pay- $18 - $28 per hour
- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
- No weekend work required
- Typical hours:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Valid California Radiology (X-ray) Certification
- Minimum 6 months dental assisting experience preferred; training provided for the right candidate
- Proficiency in maintaining an organized workspace
- Strong communication and excellent customer service skills
- Dependable, compassionate, a team player with a positive attitude
- Experience with Open Dental software
- At least 1 year of dental assisting experience
- Assist dentists during procedures, including chairside support
- Take high-quality dental X-rays in accordance with California regulations
- Prepare, stock, and sterilize treatment rooms and dental instruments
- Support front and back office operations in a cross-trained role
- Maintain an organized and welcoming clinical environment
- Educate patients and ensure their comfort throughout treatment
