The Role
We are currently looking for a caring and energetic Middle English Language Arts School Teacher to join our team. If you have a passion for working with children, provide high-quality education and care, and work collaboratively to learn and grow, we want you on our team. Our teachers engage a wide variety of students with diverse teaching methods and techniques. Strong subject knowledge, effective lesson execution, and the ability to engage students in thoughtful and creative exploration will promote meaningful instruction and deep learning.
Responsibilities- Partner to create and cultivate a responsive learning environment
- Demonstrate self-awareness, reflect on practice with self and others, and act on feedback
- Develop classroom resources and a physical environment that supports students and their learning
- Collaborate with other faculty and school teams to positively impact student experience
- Continuously integrate different instructional methods to help students delve deeper into subjects
- Communicate with parents to support student achievement
- Develop relationships with other school staff
- Promote positive development and social and emotional competencies in students
- Maintain a well-organized and engaging classroom environment
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university;
Master’s Degree preferred - Three or more years of full-time teaching experience
- Single Subject Teaching Credential
- Strong communication skills with the ability to help students delve deep into subjects
- Ability to pass a state and federal background check
