Part Time Academy Teacher

Julian Charter School is seeking a Part Time Academy Teacher to teach two history classes within our academy program. This position is ideal for an educator who is passionate about history, student engagement, and collaborative teaching in a supportive charter school environment. The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering standards-aligned instruction while contributing positively to the school community. Primary responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering engaging history instruction aligned with California content standards
• Teaching two middle school history classes
• Using effective instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
• Establishing and maintaining a structured, positive classroom environment
• Assessing student learning and providing timely, constructive feedback
• Maintaining accurate attendance and academic records
• Communicating professionally with students, families, and staff
• Collaborating with colleagues and participating in school meetings as required

This position requires a current CA teaching credential:
Multiple Subjects teaching credential. If you do not currently hold an appropriate California credential at the time of your application, your application will not be considered.

In addition to a resume and letter of introduction, we require three letters of recommendation, a current negative TB test, current CPR certification, and copies of all college transcripts to be uploaded at the time of application.
